Just wondering what are the best settings for getting a good clear pic of the stars? I was playing around last night (finally got a tripod for the Canon YAY ) but I'm getting some movement on the stars (star trails i think) which i don't actually want. I was using ISO200, F5.6 at about 175mm (75-300mm Zooms lens) and a 30 sec exposure - thinking the long exposure would make them clearer but obviously as i mentioned I'm getting some movement in the stars so I gather thats too long or is it also cause of using the zoom as well? I had been looking at Nikon D80 as my target camera and the Nikon 18-200mm AF lens. The problem is that I am hearing opposing statements regarding a problem between the two. Some say the battery will discharge, other say it is all good. So what what your thoughts on this? It was really weird. The screen went black when the logon was complete: the desktop loaded, all the programs loaded, and then it went black. After 10 minutes, the screen would return, but the computer hangs and the mouse is gone. » Is it OK to place rear speakers for a 7.1 surround system on side walls instead of behind the seating area?

The room is 40'x13'. Seating area is only closest 15 feet, rest is for pool table with no where to place speakers besides on far wall 25' behind seating. Would putting the speakers on the side wall (basically 2 surrounds on each side) sound OK or would it totally screw up the sound field?So half of the room is for viewing the other half is for pool. They should be fine. I would consider placing them in the ceiling. You can place them on the side and should be ok. My in-laws have a set up a bit like that. hey everyone i hear this is a very good lens for the price does anyone know of any problems with it. I have moved XBMC Lyrics script to the new WindowXMLDialog() format. This means changes to script skins are necessary and I am unable to change all skins. The default skin should be a good example of the changes needed. I moved Slate, Xbox-Classic, xTV and MC360 skins into a broken skins folder, so they are still in SVN. Basically, control ID's are now important and have changed, so has the xml name and placement. They work just like XBMC skins now, where they go into a /PAL/ folder for example. You also need to keep all gfx with your XBMC skin. All tags and defaults work automatically.
